Poppyscotland Hearts & Heroes Challenge

The inaugural Hearts & Heroes Challenge took place in May 2009 with over 500 people setting off from the start line at St Mary’s Loch.  Approximately 40% of the teams came from the military fraternity and 30% from the rugby crowd.  The great day was rounded off with a mega party adjacent to Melrose RFC. The 2009 event raised £244,961 for Poppy Scotland, Hearts & Balls and the Sportsman’s Charity.
