Quad Open to Relay Teams!

Quad Open to Relay Teams!

After a number of enquiries about relay options for the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon we are opening the 2012 event up to a limited number of relay teams.  Taking on the full Quadrathlon can seem a daunting challenge, so if you are interested in taking part in a certain section of the event there is the option of competing as a relay team.  The only rule when it comes to the relays is that you must have at least 2 people taking part in each discipline.  For example, you could have a team of 8 with each person completing one discipline, you could have a team of 4 with each person completing 2 disciplines or you could even have a team of 3 with one member doing all disciplines and two friends splitting the others between them.  It’s a great opportunity for you and your friends/colleagues to take part in this amazing event and who knows, it could be a stepping stone for you completing the full challenge in future years!

Individuals taking part in the relay are required to pay the full registration fee (less £30 if you are not doing the kayak) and must each fundraise the minimum amount of £450.  Each participant still gets the full benefit of services provided over the course of the weekend, including the pasta party & event catering, camping facilities, massage & medical support, a brilliant post event fireworks display and ceilidh.

The event logistics team can transport relay participants back from the swim finish or to the mountain start, however, relay teams must have the means of getting themselves to/from the kayak transition for anyone who begins or finishes at that point.

People wishing to take part as a relay team should call the events team on 01567 820 409 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) as the registration process is slightly different for relays compared with teams of two.
