Events Manager Signs up for the Quad

WildFox Event Manager Sarah Willis has signed up for the 2011 Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon. This will be Sarah’s first (hopefully not the last) WildFox challenge.
Held around the shores of Loch Tay in Highland Perthsire on the 9th of July, teams have to swim across Loch Tay, run seven peaks, kayak for eight miles and finally cycle a further 40 miles. “It just wouldn’t be fair to put so many people though such a tough challenge without getting a taste for it myself,” commented Sarah.
Sarah is taking part with her brother Tim, who completed the quad last year. “I’m feeling pretty apprehensive about it,” she admitted. “But the Quad combines all the outdoor pursuits I love doing and the money it raises for Mercy Corps and Mary’s Meals really makes a difference.”
There are still around 100 places left for this years’ quad and there is always space for volunteers who want to help out on the day. “The quad in unlike any other outdoor challenge. It has a wonderfully positive atmosphere and everyone really looks out for each other,” Sarah added.
